Working closely with the ‘Emirates Heritage Club’ in the UAE, the artist researched and gathered material to produce the ‘definitive’ study of these traditional craft, sailing aboard the craft, visiting the yards where they are built and meeting the people who sail them was all part of this research. Over 2 years of work was put into the project which we hope you will agree shows these craft in a completely new and different perspective. Prominent collectors have invested in this series including Nakheels ‘The Palm Jumeira’ private collections include His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
